Choose snu-guest from the list of available networks on your device. If a web browser does not open automatically, open a web browser and attempt to navigate to a website. The window below will come up. If you agree to the use terms and privacy policy, check the box near the bottom left of the screen and then click the appropriate icon to log in with a social media account. If you are an SNU employee or student, you can use your SNU email account to sign in with Google if you have changed your initial password, but using snu-wifi is recommended. When using snu-guest, you will need to log in each time you get on the network. Note: The login box on the left is for special guest accounts only. You will receive an email at the address you provided when applying with your username, temporary password, and instructions on how to change your password. At some point before your course starts, go to https://reset.snu.edu and log in with your username and temporary password. It is very helpful to do this before arriving on campus, as it will speed up connecting devices to the wireless network. If you are attempting to to log in on a mobile device and experience problems, please try connecting to the Desktop version of the page. Follow the instructions for setting up your new password. The complexity requirements for your password are: Must have a minimum of 8 characters Must have at least 1 upper case letter and 1 lower case Must have a number Must have a symbol It cannot contain 3 or more consecutive letters that are in your first/last name. After successfully setting up your password, we recommend clicking on the Enrollment tab and registering a mobile number and/or alternate email address in case you forget your password or your account gets locked. If you have forgotten your password or your account has become locked, you can reset it by going to https://reset.snu.edu and clicking on the “Forgot Password?” link. If you are using a mobile device and experience problems, please try connecting to the Desktop version of the page. 2. Type your SNU username in the Domain User Name field and click continue. 3. If you supplied a mobile phone number or alternate email when you applied or while setting up your password, you can choose one of those to receive a code to unlock or change your password. If you do not have the option or are unable to receive the code, please contact the Helpdesk at 405-491-6396. 4. If you are able to send the code to your alternate email or mobile phone, the website will wait 5 minutes for you to enter the code. 5. Enter the Verification code and follow the instructions to change your password. Click the Start button and type in the word wireless. Click on “Manage wireless networks”. 2. From the Manage Wireless Networks screen, click Add. 3. Click Manually create a network profile. 4. Enter snu-wifi for the Network name and select WPA2-Enterprise for the Security type. Click Next. 5. Click on Change connection settings. 6. On the Wireless Network Properties screen, select the Security tab. Select Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP) for the authentication method. Click on the Settings button. 7. Uncheck the box next to Validate server certificate. Click on Configure next to Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2). 8. Uncheck the check box and click OK on that screen and on the Protected EAP Properties screen. 9. On the Wireless Network Properties page, click the Advanced settings button. 10. On the Advanced setting screen, check the box next to Specify authentication mode. Select User authentication from the drop-down list. Click the Save credentials button. That will prompt you for your SNU username and password. Enter those and click OK. Click OK on the Advanced settings screen. Click OK on the Wireless Network Properties screen. 11. If you were on the snu-guest network, right-click on the snu-guest network on the Manage Wireless Networks screen and select Remove network. You can now close that screen.
